Clyde Surgeon’s report
8th May 1863 “At 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon Mrs Webb, wife of one of the pensioners was admitted into the Military Hospital about to be confined. She was very ill and most dangerous symptoms were shown until 4am, when signs of the extinction of vital powers became evinced and she gradually got worse and all measures we had recourse to without effect, when death occurred at a quarter past 3pm.”
In 1885 Ann Kelly (Mary RYLS sister) was asking about the whereabouts of pensioner Henry Webb (20 years deceased)
