Copy of second wife Isabella Gardner’s will available at State Records Office of Western Australia (SRO Cons 3403/1908/169) Will made 22 May 1908 with her son John Donald McKay Gardner the sole beneficiary and executor and if he should die without children the residue to go to her granddaughter Agnes Gardner The estate consisted of land and buildings valued at £1285/10/0 with debts of £500/3/0 so the value of the estate was £785/7/0. The land was 3 pieces of land consisting of 2 roods 3 perches subdivision 32 &33 of Perth suburban lot 162 with frontages to Claisebrook Road and Summer Street with a 4 roomed house, and a smaller cottage of 3 rooms.
