I also give my wife Annie my furniture and everything that I can by law or dispose of, for her sole use and separate use and benefit her receipt being a sufficient discharge and I appoint said son Thomas Executor of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty eighth day of August one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine…” Thomas Minorgan and William Joyce were the witnesses. The estate was estimated at being under £200In his will Thomas Bishop lists seven of his children making no mention of the two eldest Susan and Charles although they were alive at the time of his making his will, perhaps he only thought the unmarried ones needed to be considered. |
