In the 1861 Census RG 09/3144/89/2 M Walsh, soldier, unmarried, age 39 born Ireland is with his regiment 1/10th at the Fulwood Barracks Preston Lancashire
21st August 1880 Michael Walsh (10th ft) was living at the Fremantle No 2 Barracks with his 4 children Mrs Walsh was at the tine in the lunatic Asylum however by 6th May 1882 Michael occupied quarters at No. 2 Barracks Fremantle with his wife and three children
1881 Michael Walsh, 10th Regt, purchased furniture at the sale of excess Barracks furniture.
15th April 1885 Michael was appointed to the guard for the Magazine.
He served in the Enrolled Guard from 1st May 1886 until it was disbanded.
It is possible James Walsh died age 45 in 1910 at Roebourne Western Australia, while John could me the man who died 24th December 1943 age 77 and was buried at Karrakatta Cemetery.
