Further Information | On the 6th February 1869. John Travers, pensioner, was found drunk and handed over to the military authorities to be dealt with. He was given 56 days garrison duty. He was recorded as being 42 year of age, protestant, and could read and write. (SROWA Acc 1156, V16B entry 2094) Both 1881 and 1891 English Census shows John Travers in Chelsea Hospital as being a widower, however no marriage has heen found for him. |
