| Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1851 Thomas Stewart 2115 Private 53rd foot location Rawalpindi India 1861 Thomas Stewart 205/730 Private 87th foot returning from China 1880 Thomas Stewart was one of the men who was serving in the Enrolled Force at the time of its disbanding. 2nd May 1881 letter written recommending STEWART Thomas for the Enrolled Guard to replace SHEEHAN Patrick on his resignation. Letter held SRO WA 1880 Thomas Stewart and his wife and 3 children were living at No 2 Barracks Fremantle Between July and September 1881 Thomas was employed as a labourer at the magazine. |
