Pat Sheahan (sic) is a single man age 31 born Ireland in Barracks with his regiment.
Discharge was at his own request at the termination of his second period of limited engagement.
November 1880 Patrick Sheehan of the 53rd regiment was on the Nominal roll for the Enrolled Guard he was recorded as having 7 children, however although he was married no children are included in the passenger list. Mr and Mrs Patrick Sheehan departed Fremantle 28th April 1881 arriving Adelaide 5th May and departing 6th May for Melbourne aboard the Otway arriving 8th May 1881. Not known when they sailed for New Zealand
WO22/218 & WO22/219 all record Patrick Sheehan of the 53rd regiment pension 1/2 ½ being paid Aril to July 1882 at Dublin but in October 1882 he was paid Miltown Malbay Clare
