Further Information | British Army worldwide Index 1851 James Rush 2591 Private Depot 88th Foot location Bury Barracks Discharge due to paralysis of lower extremities and back the result of a blow from a sand bag while serving in the trenches before Sebastopol 7th June 1855. November 1880 James rush was on the Nominal roll for the Enrolled Guard. At the time he was living at the Perth barracks and had 4 children 1 boy and 3 girls 2 of whom were in the Convent, his wife was dead. 13th December 1882 he was discharged from the Enrolled Guard-no reason given.James John – name on some records shown as John James |
