Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1841 Richard Roberts (sic) 1358 Private 50th Foot location en route from Sydney NSW to India 1851 Richard Robarts 2905/50th 1358 Private 24th Foot location Wizirabad Wounded left cheek at Chillianwallah Discharge at own request having served upwards of 21 years. The Surgeon Superintendent of the Merchantman rated his conduct as Very Good. He received medical treatment 3 times during the voyage for syphilis, conjunctivitis and plegmon, he spent 21 days in the hospital. |
