Further Information | Saw service in China whilst on board “Wellesley” may be entitled to Medal for China 1840. AJCP reel 466/87 part 2 Folio 233 Proceedings of a Court of Inquiry into complaints by the wives of the Pensioner Guard on the “Stag” into the conduct of the Superintendent Surgeon CALDWELL. Enrolled Pensioner Private William RISEAM said he had no personal quarrel with Mrs BROWN before she accused him of cohabiting with Mrs DENMAN. She was a most quarrelsome woman and he did not see her gagged. Appears in both 1851 and 1861 English Census as married. |
