Will or Probate30th July 1891 Martin O’Dea made his will whereby after payment of his just debts and funeral expenses he gave the whole of his estate and effects and everything he could by law give or dispose of to his son Michael O’Dea.
He appointed Michael O’Dea executor.

21st March 1873 Martin O’Dea summonsed Stephen Chipper for allowing a ferocious and unmuzzled dog at large which bit his wife Bridget.
Interestingly his son Michael’s estate was valued at over £26,000 at his death in 1932.
During 1874 Martin O’Dea was imprisoned for unknown offence released 9th June 1875 thereabouts
