Harriet BARKER died 11th January 1912 and is buried in the East Perth Cemetery but her body was exhumed and reburied Karrakatta Cemetery.

Further Information1863 Harriet Burton arrived in Western Australia per Burlington as a 21yo servant
1868 Charles Oakley left Western Australia but his wife and son remained in Western Australia. From that time one third of Charles’s pension was paid to his wife in WA until 1877 when it was discontinued and Charles received his pension in full. Charles pension was paid in Victoria up to 30th June 1890 when it was reported as being unclaimed and discontinued.
1912 Harriet Barler’s obituary does not mention her marriage to Charles.
