Discharge due to chronic rheumatism and defective vision
After the arrival of the Scindian at Fremantle Captain Henderson wrote a report listing the rank name, trade or calling, rate of pension, date of enlistment for 5 months service, marital status, and number of children for each pensioner. Sometimes the trade of calling differed from that recorded at the time of attestation:
Private William Oaks, farm labourer, 7d, 21st January, single.

Not known when Mary Ann Greenslades PALMER left Western Australia between 1852 to 1857 and married, perhaps bigamously, Andrew Clark.
