Further Information | Discharge due to wound to left hand at Mooltan The length of service and the dates of the ships to and from India do not correlate Locally St. Finbarr’s (South) Cork City was referred to as St. Barry’s. The information recorded on the Certificate of Transfer and his death certificate differs. His parents were John and Mary of the former and John Herbert Murray (which was most probably correct) and mother was Margaret Fitzherbert. His wife on the Transfer is Ann Dermott while that on the death certificate is Maria McDermott. His age at death is compatible with any other record, |
