Discharge due to chronic inflammation of the liver and enlargement of the spleen the result of intermitted attacks of fever when on duty in India.
In the 1861 Census of England Peter Moore is living at 15 Lords Court Salford, Lancashire with his wife Elizabeth a charwoman age 40 born Kings County Ireland and their daughter Elizabeth born 1860 at Salford.
Peter Moore was in the Enrolled Force for the required 7 years and except for working as a labourer on the Canning road in 1882 there is no further mention of him, nor is his death reported in the newspapers.
