He had sundry arrests for drunkenness.
November 1880 Patrick Herrick was on the nominal list for the Enrolled Guard. He was living in No 1 Barracks Fremantle with 2 children. Employed at the Fremantle magazine 1881. 13th April 1881 dismissed, joined the Enrolled Guard 25th September 1886.Thanks to Robyn Hukin who for family history that notes William Alexander Sculthorpe was a East India Company Colour Sgt who had died in Dinap. Patrick who died 1915 was on the lugger “spider” in Cossack Creek of supposed heart failure.
