Discharge: In July 1858 when stationed at Poona at a Field day on making an effort of strength he became ruptured on the right side. In June 1860 at ? in marching order with his Battery and jumping off a wagon he felt a sudden severe pain of the left groin, which was also from a rupture. Not aggravated by vice or intemperance. Disability caused by accidents on duty.
Unfit for service and likely to be permanently disqualified for military duty. Two good conduct badges.
