Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1851 Lewis Fitzmaurice 985 Private 1st Royal Regiment of Dragoons location Nottingham Discharge due to frostbite to both feet. There seems to be some discrepancy about the rate of pension. Originally deemed 9d per diem for 2 years and then made permanent @ 9d per diem but he appears to have been paid @6d per diem for much of the time. In 1872 Pensioner Fitzmorris (sic) was involved in a case of a stolen coat. |
