In the 1861 Census Charles Daeley (sic) age 40, a married man, occupation Guard Convict service born Warwickshire Coventry is living at 2 Bridges Road (Princetown) Lidford with his wife Harriet N age 28 born Dorchester Devon and his son Charles age 11 months born Devon Princetown8th May 1876 John Darley applied for the grant of £15 to enable him to finish his house.20th May 1879 The Superintendent of Police advised that Pensioner John Darley was discharged from Gordon Bridge Station on 16th April 1879 – SROWA Cons 430 27/815
