Discharge from chronic rheumatism
William twice reported thefts from him while drinking one in WA and one in SA.
In the evidence given in South Australia William said he arrived in Adelaide on 21st January 1864.The Newspaper accounts for the arrival of the Rangatira said ‘7 in steerage’
On William Church’s Certificate of Change of Address dated Adelaide 1st February 1870 when he requested his pension to be paid in Melbourne, (he wished to reside there), he recorded his military and physical details but no personal details.
He was paid in Melbourne from April 1870 to December 1871. He was struck off the list on 13th August 1874 for ’non-appearance.’
