Awarded medal with Gratuity of £5 for long service and good conduct 1861 Census Francis Woods was a soldier of the 1st battalion 16th regiment stationed at Camp Shorncliffe Kent. He was a single man age 33 born Ireland. Francis Woods’s pension was paid in Victoria from April 1874 until his death in March 1893. His death is noted on the payment form.
