Further Information | Served in Scinde and Afghanistan Campaign in 1839 British Army Worldwide Index 1841 Patrick Dunn 220 Private 4th Lt Dragoons Location Kirkee [Bombay] He left India for England on the ship Mary in 1841 According to the Battle Honours for the regiment he could have had medals for Ghunzee and Afghanistan Discharge due to chronic rheumatism. On the 18th November 1853 the Staff Officer at Clonmel was directed to send Private Patrick Dunn and his family to Waterford where the Staff officer was to send them as speedily as possible to Bristol. Both Margaret age 8 and Francis age 5 were successfully treated for rubella during the voyage of the Sea Park. December 7th 1864 the wife of Patrick Dunn declared insane. From 1866 Ann Dunn, pensioner’s wife was charged with numerous accounts of being drunk and disorderly, vagrancy and similar petty offences. |
