Further Information1n the 1851 Census Isaac Heathcote is a police constable at Stretford, Lancashire
The Perth Gazette recorded that a pensioner Isaac Heathcote had been nearly killed by a wild bullock in the bush. It emphasised the folly of employing men not accustomed to handling cattle in country areas.
In March 1855 there was an unclaimed letter for Isaac at the Post Office which rather looks as if he had left the state
