Further Information | He was discharged suffering from ‘heart disease and constitutional debility.’ In the 1851 Census HO 107/1954/665 Stephen Beasley and his wife Jane are living at 15 Barley Fields in the parish of St Philip and St Jacob Bristol. Stephen is working as a labourer at an iron foundry. Throughout her life Mary Jane was called by the alternate names of Jane, Mary Ann and Haywood. His pension must have terminated before his departure for South Australia as his pension was not paid there. |
