In the 1851 Census for 95th regiment Anglesey Barracks Portsea, Portsea Island Hampshire the entry for Patrick Sullivan (1947) is crossed out although it said he was aged 22, a married man, Private of regiment, born Killarney Kerry. (The entries for Sullivan have their Regimental numbers added)
Discharge due to loss of index finger by amputation after gunshot wound received at Inkerman 5th November 1854
The Surgeon Superintendent of the Merchantman rated the conduct of both Patrick and Johanna Sullivan as Very Good, Patrick required medical treatment for plegmon during the voyage, They were accompanied by their children Alice, Richard and Michael
