He is a private in the 2nd Battalion 12th regiment aged 37, unmarried and born Ireland Discharge at own request having served 21 years21st October 1884 he Superintendent of the Poor house William Dale queried whether Pensioner Fitzgerald would be better being admitted to the hospital rather than the Poor House however Dr Waylin said he could do nothing for him and he could not take him into the hospital.
