Further Information | Discharge due to having completed 21 years’ service Half of John Bennett’s pension was paid to his wife in Dublin for an unknown period 13th March 1863 Prior to sailing private Bennett had his grog stopped for 2 days for sleeping while on watch. There is an entry for John Bennett in the NAA Reel B 2714 Page 163 Item 3510 on the Change of Residence certificate which gives the details of his marriage |
