Further InformationReason for Discharge – Received a gunshot wound of left hip at the storming of Delhi on 14 September 1857. The ball fractured the cusp of the ilium and lodged occasioning permanent lameness which renders him unfit for further military service,

1868 A Patrick MAGUIRE, pensioner from Bunbury was a witness in a case against Joseph Smith for stealing 2 bottles of rum. He said he had been in the police force and was discharged after a few days service.
