On 27th June 1854 Thomas Crowe received medical treatment for an ulcer during the voyage of the Ramillies
Prior to quitting the Colony Samuel Crowe refunded passage money of £15 to Captain Foss who misappropriated the money. It was one of the offenses Foss was charged with under “conduct disgraceful to the character of and officer and a gentleman.”
