Further Information | Discharge: Length of service In the 1861 Census Josiah Reeves a single man is living at the home of his brother George (a Chelsea pensioner, 60th Rifles) with George’s wife and step-children at Heddington, Wiltshire. Josiah is a Greenwich pensioner aged 42. Both Josiah and George said they were born at Blackland Wiltshire. Josiah was admitted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital on 10th June 1870. At the time he was age 51, single, a protestant residing Angaston, working as a labourer born Wiltshire and had been 2 years in the Colony having arrived on the Emily Smith. |
