18th October 1873 Lt. Col. Harvest objects to the case of Enrolled Pensioner Denis UPTON 87th Regiment, charged with giving money to a convict being tried in a Civil Court not a Military one (Cons 36 CSR Vol 745 Folio 234)
His wife Margaret, a married woman age 60, was admitted to the (Royal) Adelaide Hospital on 23rd June 1881 age 60. She was a Roman Catholic living at Norman Street. She had been born in Ireland and had been 3 years in the Colony. She was again admitted on 25th January 1883 although this time she gave the ship of arrival as the Dalhousie having been in the Colony for 14 years.
