Further InformationReason for discharge:
Disabled by partial loss of power of right hand and arm after fracture of both bones of forearm about their centre by a grape shot on 28th June in the Cemetery. The ball struck the arm obliquely and appears to have injured the ulna more than the radius. He also states that by concussion the humerus of the same arm was fractured in two places of this however there is no way direct … States that two pieces of bone came away from the fracture. Unfit for further service.
Son Walter Henry Turner seems to have changed his name to Walter Money/Mooney Turner and married Frances King at Albany in 1892 and died Fremantle 1919.
