Joseph Reily (sic) age 35 soldier is living with his wife Catherine age 30, , son Joseph age 5 all born Ireland, daughter Catherine age 2 born England and son Philip aged just 21 days, he was born on Jersey.
Joseph Thomas Reilly wrote an autobiography titled “Reminiscences of Fifty Years Residence in Western Australia” in 1903 which sets out the origin and subsequent descendants of the Reilly family. This book was later republished in a shortened form by Lucille Quinlan as “Undaunted Spirit.”
