1882 Thomas Minorgan. Report of Pensioners McMeekhin’s cottage at North Fremantle to enable me to apply for £15 to assist him to put on the roof.
6 May 1882 Return of No 2 Barracks Fremantle Alexander McMeekin is living with his wife and 4 children.
4 September 1884 Alexander McMeekum (sic) appointed to Enrolled guard. On the roll at the time of disbandment, he was in possession of 2 acres of land and a cottage not yet roofed.
