Mentioned in Surgeon’s Log Friday 7th July 1865 as having negligently performed his duty whilst on sentry in main hatchway. Grog stopped for 7 days.He was in an asylum in NZ from December 1875 until his death in 1881 aged 61. See WO22/278-WO22/292
