Michael Kenny was accompanied by his wife Charlotte on the voyage of the Merchantman. The Surgeon Superintendent rated their conduct as being ‘very good.’21 August 1880 Michael Kenney was on the nominal list of Pensioners available for Enrolled Guard: Appointed 6th March 1862 served until 31st March 1887

16th July 1891 Resident Magistrate Fremantle requests relief for Michael Kenny. “Michael Kenny is suffering from bronchitis. He appears to be in a destitute condition without necessary nourishment. Recommends he have a money allowance of 3/6 per week for a time. Mrs Kenny informs me that she supports herself and her husband by washing.” (Cons 527/1891/1384)
