Further Information | Discharge due to contusion of the knee Purchased 1868 Fremantle Town lot 834 and 835 acreage unknown. 4 November 1874 Martin Joyce of the Duty Force applied for a grant as he had erected a substantial cottage on the land he had purchased. Colonel Harvest gave a testament to Martin Joyce’s character. Martin’s age at the time of attestation and discharge are not compatible – give different year of birth In 1866 Martin Joyce nominated his nephew Thomas Concannon, age 22, a constable at Castle Baldwin, Boyle, Sligo as an immigrant. Mrs Cormick (sic) of Fremantle was admitted to the Women’s Home in January 1892 suffering from debility and died ten days later. |
