Edward James age 40 a pensioner of the 21st hussars is living with his wife Emily age 28 born Cawnpore India and his family.
Emily his 11 year old daughter born 1860 Chunar India is actually his step daughter Emily Dowling and George (Dowling) age 9 born Kussowlie 1862 is also a step child.
Albert age 7, Florence age 5 and Edith age 3 were all born Umballa India and Octavius age 1 was born Bombay.
George seems to disappear from this time but Emily Dowling came to Australia with the family.
