Mentioned in the Surgeon Superintends Report – suffering from Catarrhus et Debilitas 26/11/1852 during Dudbrook voyage1851 English Census, Simon, Susan, Elizabeth, Henry and James reside Elven, Durham1853 arrived Fremantle with his 3 children after his wife died 1852. Visited NSW at the end of 1853 with eldest son Henry, whilst James stayed with Elizabeth & David in Fremantle, returning to WA in 1854.
1854 Stationed and resided in Fremantle.
Moved to NSW with both sons to live permanently on the 25/2/1855 per ‘Emma’.
1869 correspondence with War Office for assistance to return home to the United Kingdom.
