The reference list was compiled by Jack Peters, probably using the original records of Matthew Cull (1852-1938), who was for 59 years, the Verger of St Johns Anglican Church, held in Albany History Collection. Discharge due to loss of right ring finger by amputation after shell wound received 21st July. Has been under treatment at Brompton Hospital for syphilis for the last 4 months of an aggressive form – general health much broken.
19th November 1880 shown on roll of Enrolled Guard as occupying quarters with wife. His letters of Administration say no children.
