Discharge due to violent palpitations of the heart
In the 1851 Census Cornelius Glasson, age 24 (sic) a soldier born Ireland is living at No 3 Middle Street Brompton Kent with his wife Elizabeth aged 22 also born Ireland and their daughter Bridget aged 9 months born Brompton Kent.
On 2th August 1873 Charged with being drunk on guard a District Court Martial sentenced him to 56 days imprisonment with pension suspended 

17th December 1886 An Inquest was held into the death of Cornelius Glasson who was found dead in a paddock near the Old Burial Ground that found he died from natural causes not from and force or violence despite excessive drinking and congestion of the brain.
