Arrived Melbourne 13th October 1854. |

Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1841 William Cuthbert 230 Private 97th Regt Location Corfu Discharge due to being worn out and subject to Dyspnoea on exertion In the 1851 Census William Cuthbert is living with his wife Jane 47 born North Leith Scotland and daughters Jane 5 born England and Herioit (Harriet) 4 born Fife Scotland at 22 Water Lane Leith, Midlothian, Scotland Pension paid in WA to 30 March 1854 it was reinstated 12th March 1858, at the time there was £67/10/0 owing on his passage-this may have been to the Colony as he would have forfeited the right to have a free passage when he deserted. |
