Michael Carroll was assigned North Fremantle Pensioner allotment P30 on 20th November 1852 but all did not go well as in 1855 the couple signed an undertaking not to fight under pain of expulsion from the village. Unfortunately Bridget was expelled from the village after a court appearance on 14th June 1855.
Bridget Carroll died from burns which occurred when she was returning from Fremantle to her home at North Fremantle when being the worse for drink she fell asleep and some matches in her pocket ignited.
22nd August 1876 Michael Carroll age 71 was admitted to the (Royal) Adelaide Hospital. At the time he was living at Finnis and working as a labourer. He said he was a Roman Catholic, married, and had been in the Colony for 27 years arriving on the Pyrenees.
