Martin Byrne and Margaret Sheridan were witnesses to the marriage of fellow guard John Dunn at Maryborough on 30th September 1852.
Daughter Eliza age 11 was one of the children on the Sea Park who was treated successfully for rubella.
Martin Byrne was one of the Pensioners who had a 2 roomed brick cottage with shingle roof erected at a cost of £47 on a portion referred to as ‘at the back of Perth’ after the grant of £15 Martin paid the balance at the rate of 1/- per day and an additional 10/- per month until paid in full
Wife applied for outdoor relief 9th May 1883. The obituary for Martin said Margaret was blind.
