It looks like the family did not come to WA with Henry and he returned to England soon after arrival.
In the 1861 Census RG 09/3879/25/14 Henry Brister (Chelsea Pensioner) is a Sergeant Major in the Northumberland Militia living with his wife and 6 children at the militia Depot Yard Green Batt Alnwick Northumberland.
Son Henry enlisted in the 22nd regiment and in the 1871 census he is at Aldershot as a private no 1718.
