Further Information | Was present at the Kurnool campaign 1839 Bi-Centennial Dictionary states stuck off Pension List 8th December 1856: however, no proof of this happening 1871 Census William is living with his family at Towns End Neithrop Banbury Oxfordshire, he is working as a skinner’s labourer (fellmonger) 1881 Census William is still living in Neithrop and is unemployed curiously he does not say he is a pensioner although his pension is recorded as being paid in Coventry up to 1875(no further records). Sarah is not with the family although William is married not a widower. |
