Further Information | Army deserter in 1836 Declared illegally absent 20th September 1836 Transferred to 81st Regiment 21st July 1846 British Army, Worldwide Index: 1851 Robert Barr 2188 Private 81st regt Location Templemore Ireland Discharge due to eye disease of both eyes almost blind in left eye and impaired in right eye quite unfit for duties as a sentry. Mrs Barr received medical treatment on board the Phoebe Dunbar on 15th July 1853 for fever. She gave birth to a child on 27th August who died from Atrophy on September 16th |
