Further Information | British Army Worldwide Index 1841 Robert Holgate location Barbados Discharge due to chronic rheumatism and constitution worn out. In the 1851 Census Robert is living at Breton Yard St Helier Jersey Channel Islands with his wife and three children. Both Roberts born 1841 and 1843 are not with the family and possibly died. A William Holgate is mentioned in the newspaper of 8th July 1863 so there may have been another child |
