John Taylor transferred to the 3rd Bengal Cavalry on 28th February 1859-2nd May 1861, he still came under the British Army pension scheme for the period

John Taylor did not appear in the WO 22 or 23 records after being paid in Western Australia for the June quarter of 1866.
