Further Information | Discharge due to two fingers of his left hand being smashed in the Khyber Pass Surgeon’s Journal Pyrenees Sick list: January 2nd 1853 William Thompson age 45 treated for phlegmon aboard the Pyrenees. February 3rd Mrs Thompson age 19 was treated for constipation Charged with military offences in 1853-54 (Drunkenness and resisting arrest) There is an Anna Thompson buried St Patrick’s Skinner street Cemetery born and baptised 2nd October 1855 a month after Leticia’s birth. Pension paid Fremantle to 31st December 1856. The pension department in India was instructed to mark a stoppage of £7/17/10 for his wife’s passage to Australia; however there is no record of him actually being paid in Bengal although he is named on the pension list. |
